29Entäo dali buscarás ADONAI teu D's, e o acharás, quando o buscares de todo o teu coraçäo e de toda a tua alma.
30Quando estiverdes em angústia, e todas estas coisas te alcançarem, entäo nos últimos dias voltarás para ADONAI teu D's, e ouvirás a sua voz.
31Porquanto ADONAI teu D's é D's misericordioso, e näo te desamparará, nem te destruirá, nem se esquecerá da aliança que jurou a teus pais.
32Agora, pois, pergunta aos tempos passados, que te precederam desde o dia em que D's criou o homem sobre a terra, desde uma extremidade do céu até à outra, se sucedeu jamais coisa täo grande como esta, ou se jamais se ouviu coisa como esta?
33Ou se algum povo ouviu a voz de D's falando do meio do fogo, como tu a ouviste, e ficou vivo?
34Ou se D's intentou ir tomar para si um povo do meio de outro povo com provas, com sinais, e com milagres, e com peleja, e com mäo forte, e com braço estendido, e com grandes espantos, conforme a tudo quanto ADONAI vosso D's vos fez no Egito aos vossos olhos?
35A ti te foi mostrado para que soubesses que ADONAI é D's; nenhum outro há senäo ele.
36Desde os céus te fez ouvir a sua voz, para te ensinar, e sobre a terra te mostrou o seu grande fogo, e ouviste as suas palavras do meio do fogo.
37E, porquanto amou teus pais, e escolheu a sua descendência depois deles, te tirou do Egito diante de si, com a sua grande força.
38Para lançar fora de diante de ti naçöes maiores e mais poderosas do que tu, para te introduzir e te dar a sua terra por herança, como neste dia se vê.
39Por isso hoje saberás, e refletirás no teu coraçäo, que só ADONAI é D's, em cima no céu e em baixo na terra; nenhum outro há.
40E guardarás os seus estatutos e os seus mandamentos, que te ordeno hoje para que te vá bem a ti, e a teus filhos depois de ti, e para que prolongues os dias na terra que ADONAI teu D's te dá para todo o sempre.

28And there ye shall serve gods, the work of men's hands, wood and stone, which neither see, nor hear, nor eat, nor smell.
29But if from thence thou shalt seek the ADONAI thy G'd, thou shalt find him, if thou seek him with all thy heart and with all thy soul.
30When thou art in tribulation, and all these things are come upon thee, even in the latter days, if thou turn to the ADONAI thy G'd, and shalt be obedient unto his voice;
31(For the ADONAI thy G'd is a merciful G'd;) he will not forsake thee, neither destroy thee, nor forget the covenant of thy fathers which he sware unto them.
32For ask now of the days that are past, which were before thee, since the day that G'd created man upon the earth, and ask from the one side of heaven unto the other, whether there hath been any such thing as this great thing is, or hath been heard like it?
33Did ever people hear the voice of G'd speaking out of the midst of the fire, as thou hast heard, and live?
34Or hath G'd assayed to go and take him a nation from the midst of another nation, by temptations, by signs, and by wonders, and by war, and by a mighty hand, and by a stretched out arm, and by great terrors, according to all that the ADONAI your G'd did for you in Egypt before your eyes?
35Unto thee it was shewed, that thou mightest know that the ADONAI he is G'd; there is none else beside him.
36Out of heaven he made thee to hear his voice, that he might instruct thee: and upon earth he shewed thee his great fire; and thou heardest his words out of the midst of the fire.
37And because he loved thy fathers, therefore he chose their seed after them, and brought thee out in his sight with his mighty power out of Egypt;
38To drive out nations from before thee greater and mightier than thou art, to bring thee in, to give thee their land for an inheritance, as it is this day.
39Know therefore this day, and consider it in thine heart, that the ADONAI he is G'd in heaven above, and upon the earth beneath: there is none else.
40Thou shalt keep therefore his statutes, and his commandments, which I command thee this day, that it may go well with thee, and with thy children after thee, and that thou mayest prolong thy days upon the earth, which the ADONAI thy G'd giveth thee, for ever. (Deuteronomy / D'varim 4:28-40)

4:39 וְיָדַעְתָּ֣
הַיֹּ֗ום וַהֲשֵׁבֹתָ֮ אֶל־לְבָבֶךָ֒ כִּ֤י יְהוָה֙ ה֣וּא הָֽאֱלֹהִ֔ים
בַּשָּׁמַ֣יִם מִמַּ֔עַל וְעַל־הָאָ֖רֶץ מִתָּ֑חַת אֵ֖ין עֹֽוד׃
4:40 וְשָׁמַרְתָּ֞
אֶת־חֻקָּ֣יו וְאֶת־מִצְוֹתָ֗יו אֲשֶׁ֨ר אָנֹכִ֤י מְצַוְּךָ֙ הַיֹּ֔ום
אֲשֶׁר֙ יִיטַ֣ב לְךָ֔ וּלְבָנֶ֖יךָ אַחֲרֶ֑יךָ וּלְמַ֨עַן תַּאֲרִ֤יךְ
יָמִים֙ עַל־הָ֣אֲדָמָ֔ה אֲשֶׁ֨ר יְהוָ֧ה אֱלֹהֶ֛יךָ נֹתֵ֥ן לְךָ֖
